Food and shelter are the basic necessities, and Restoring Haiti has a realistic and cost effective plan that will provide up to 1,000 Haitian Farmers and Ranchers with sustainability, in as little as 12 weeks from implementation. The methods we will utilize are vertical and companion farming and ranching.
Phase I
Current projects
With Vertical Farming – We can grow more crops with less land!
Vertical
Farms offer a new approach to our agricultural production with the potential to
drastically change its effect on the environment. Not only are these visions
interconnected, functioning ecosystems of their own, but they interface in
numerous ways with the greater system of creating positive repercussions.
Vertical Farms could be self-sustaining entities that exist as the epitome of efficiency for water, heat, power and waste. Vertical farming can be extremely effective in Haitian cities or rural areas.

Chicken and goat ranching!
Chickens
grow to maturity in 12 weeks. They do not need much space and can be cared for easily. Our primary livestock venture will be
poultry farming. Each farmer will cultivate crops and raise chickens and goats
for dairy and meat.
Goat ranching also is already widely used in Haiti, and the Haitians are familiar with their needs.

Tilapia Pond
The introduction of Tilapia farming will provide the Haitian people with a great source of protein and nutrients. In addition, the drained water is an excellent fertilizer for the adjoining vegetable garden! The Tilapia is then sold in the market. Contributions like yours, will help these Haitian farmers stay in business.
